Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) just obliterated the actress-turned-activist Alyssa Milano on social media after she attacked Republican lawmakers for blocking a recent coronavirus relief bill. Cruz did not hesitate to call Milano out for ignoring months of Democrats blocking similar financial relief bills.

It all started when Milano took it upon herself to reply to a tweet from Cruz in which he pointed out that the statistics prove that the Democrats are now the party of the super-rich, while the GOP is the party of working class Americans.

“This is hilarious. Why is the GOP blocking covid relief from working class families if it’s the party of working class?” Milano wrote. “Or blocking the bill to raise minimum wage to 15 dollars an hour. Sit down.”

Cruz fired back by schooling Milano and reminding her of the months that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in the House and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in the Senate blocked the GOP’s $500 billion coronavirus aid bill.

“Alyssa, facts matter,” Cruz tweeted to the “Charmed” actress. “Dems have TWICE filibustered $500Bn in emergency COVID relief. EVERY SINGLE Senate Dem voted to block relief—Pelosi refuses even to talk—bc they believe maximizing economic pain helped Biden & it helps Dems in GA. & they trust the press to cover for them.”

Milano somehow seems to think that decades of working sporadically in Hollywood makes her a political expert of sorts, but once again, she’s been exposed as the ignorant radical that she is. Democrats really are just smug coastal elites these days, while Republicans are the party of working class Americans, just as Cruz said.

This comes after Milano extended an “olive branch” to supporters of Donald Trump following the media calling the election for Joe Biden.

“I am ready to move #ForwardTogether,” Milano tweeted last week. “There’s so much work to do to heal the nation. Let’s be a part of the solution and not add to the problems we face. My comments are open. Please reply with #ForwardTogether. ”

However, the tweet did not go over well, given how much Milano has shamed Trump supporters in the past.
