The Hollywood star and shameless liberal George Clooney gave a new interview this week in wish he gushed about Joe Biden like it was his job.

Clooney praised Biden as a “very smart, wise” man, adding that he is someone who projects kindness and compassion.

“I feel like we’re in so much better shape because I do think this: Moments meet the man or woman. And this is Joe Biden’s moment,” Clooney told USA Today. “He is a compassionate, kind man. And we’re going to need that after we’ve lost probably close to 400,000 people by the time we get [the coronavirus pandemic] in our rear-view mirror.”

Clooney went on to say that Biden is the kind of person we need running the country right now.

“We’re going to need compassion through this and [Biden] is every bit of that, on top of being a very smart, wise guy, wise man,” he said, going on to add that Biden will have “a really effective presidency,” but will likely deal with resistance from Senate Republicans.

This comes weeks after Clooney said that he sees hope on the horizon once Donald Trump is “out of office.”

“Well, now we see there is. There’s more than hope,” Clooney told The Hollywood Reporter. “There is a bright light at the end of this tunnel. We will soon say goodbye to the dark ages. Goodbye to fear. Goodbye to doubt. Goodbye to the anxiety. Once this is over and Trump’s out of office, we should probably do something about COVID, too. That would be important. Here’s to 2021. We’ll see you in person then.”

When Clooney isn’t gushing over Biden or bashing Trump, he enjoys slamming America as a “racist” country. Earlier this year, he penned a scathing op-ed claiming that “anti-black racism” is this country’s “pandemic” that “infects all of us.”

“This is our pandemic,” he wrote of racism. “It infects all of us, and in 400 years we’ve yet to find a vaccine. It seems we’ve stopped even looking for one and we just try to treat the wound on an individual basis.”
