An activist group demanding a COVID relief package piled-up body bags in front of the homes of several Republican lawmakers Tuesday morning.

The group – known as SPACEs In Action – left the body bags in front of homes belonging to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Senators Susan Collins (R-ME), James Inhofe (R-OK), and Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

A number of bags were labeled “Trump COVID Death.”

The group accused McConnell of having “blood … on his hands” by “blocking a vote on COVID relief” and bragged about their stunt on social media stating they brought “the bodies to his doorstep.”

The targeted harassment at the private homes of lawmakers indicates there will be no post-election unity push from the far-left Democrat base.

Misguided Anger At Republicans With the Body Bag Stunt

A couple of questions arise in regards to the stunt:

  1. Were those actual body bags or more Democrat voters leftover from election season? (Just kidding)
  2. Where is the anger toward people like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who even members of her own party cited as a roadblock to getting COVID relief passed prior to the election?

“My conviction is to actually do my goddamn job and come up with a solution for the American people,” Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) said in a Democrat conference call in mid-September.

“We have to bring something to the floor.”

They never did.

A spokesperson for Inhofe referenced that fact in response to the body bag stunt.

“May I suggest they try sharing their concerns with Speaker Pelosi or Sen. Schumer?” they advised. “They are the ones holding up relief – not Sen. Inhofe.”

The Violent Harassment And Imagery Continues

Tuesday’s ghoulish prank is just another example of left-wing activists willing to harass Republicans either in public or outside their own homes.

And it has been going on for years.

In 2018, a group of Antifa thugs swarmed the home of Fox News host Tucker Carlson while his wife was inside.

“Each night you remind us that we are not safe,” the group, Smash Racism DC, wrote on social media. “Tonight, we remind you that you are not safe either.”

It was the same mob that chased Senator Ted Cruz and his wife out of a restaurant in DC.

McConnell himself was the victim of harassment, along with his wife, Secretary of Transportation, Elaine Chao.

More recently, violent protesters showed they were willing to harass, accost, and attack anybody from any political affiliation.

Over the summer, Democrat Mayor of Portland, Ted Wheeler, paid a visit to protesters in his city and was promptly cursed out, told to resign, had water bottles thrown at him, and was tear-gassed by federal agents.

Paul Gallant, a talk show host for 710 ESPN in Seattle mocked President Trump for suggesting rioters in his city were violent.

A little over a month later, those same ‘protesters’ torched his apartment building, leaving Gallant looking at purchasing a firearm for protection.

Minneapolis in August saw an actual Democrat candidate for state office threatening to burn down a suburb.

“I didn’t come here to be peaceful,” John Thompson said protesting in the suburb of Hugo.

“This whole god***n state burned down for $20 goddamn dollars, you think we give a f*** about burning Hugo down?” he said. “Blue lives don’t mean s*** to black people. F*** Hugo, Minnesota!”

On the same day leftists were planting body bags outside his home, Republican Mitch McConnell continued to work on a COVID relief package.

McConnell, according to Fox News, is “focused on putting forth a GOP COVID relief effort that will be signed into law by President Trump.”
