Rumors and side bets in DC are rife with speculation on the outcome of the presidency and the Senate. While some pontificate at a watering hole or at Shelly’s Back Room, others actually invest in the final decision with hard cash.

That’s where polymarket.com comes in. Their recent data has some interesting forecasts and investments.

As you can notice, not exactly chump change being invested. The site is legit and a welcome change from the universe of biased and clueless pundits and pollsters who consistently get it wrong. As they say, money talks.

The scuttlebutt odds in DC are changing by the hour. Democrats are nervously hoping the public will buy their con job. They are also happy Fox News has surrendered and now will play ball with the Democrats and their various allies. Soon, it is rumored, the purges will begin on the editorial side. Inside sources say they will merge Fox Business and FNC and currently are floating an internal corporate goal of trying to look like CNBC. From this, Newsmax is gaining. As is Parler at the expense of Facebook. Salem and Sinclair are under heavy pressure to act or take another stab at expansion or merger.

Inside the Democrat Party there is a confidence tipped with fear. It is a lingering nausea that the courts will reverse their massive fraud and a fright that Republicans will do to them what they did to Trump for four years.

Inside the Republican National Committee and the major state parties the rumored mood and tone is shell-shocked and confused. Rumors fly on presidential decisions, Senators and members of Congress ready to sell out the president, and the fate of the Senate. Most Republicans are still holding out hope for the courts, but it is fading. They think they will hold on to the Senate and are very happy with the result in the House.

But the failure of the party in fundraising and election security has people fuming and heads will roll. The Democrats ate the GOP lunch ballot security-wise and the local and state parties were outplayed on the ground by Democrat cheating. GOP honchos vow never again and are openly talking about copying Democrat ballot fraud strategies and making them even more effective in winning elections. What we may have is a technical, tactical, and strategic cheating arms race about to start. Smart money says: Welcome to the Thunderdome.

The national GOP is blaming the states, the states are blaming the counties, and all the Republicans are blaming Republican National Committee, including the Republican National Committee.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

To top off the rumor hurricane, much of DC realizes that this is the most perilous time for the presidency since Watergate. How long Trump holds out, if he is successful or not, will determine an awful lot about the political environment of the next several years. The president must know he is walking a tightrope. He must hold on if there is a legitimate chance of victory. He must not give in to the media and Democrat bum’s rush. He must also put the country first.
