President Donald Trump’s campaign’s lawsuit over Pennsylvania voting procedures was dismissed on Friday by a federal appeals court. This decision paves the way or Trump to take this lawsuit to the Supreme Court, something he’s been saying he’ll do for weeks.

Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani argued to a lower court that widespread voter fraud happened in the state, which was officially won by Joe Biden by more than 80,000 votes. However, the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that “the campaign’s claims have no merit.”

“The activist judicial machinery in Pennsylvania continues to cover up the allegations of massive fraud. We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to present proof and the facts to the PA state legislature. On to SCOTUS!” said Jenna Ellis, Trump’s attorney and campaign adviser.

The appeals court upheld the ruling of U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann, who said that the complaint made by Trump’s campaign  “like Frankenstein’s Monster, has been haphazardly stitched together.”

All three of the judges on the appeals court panel were appointed by Republican presidents, according to Fox News.

“Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here,” Judge Stephanos Bibas wrote in his ruling.

Though various media outlets have declared Biden to be the winner of the election, Trump has continued to fight through legal challenges in various states. He has claimed that his lawsuits will prove that the election was “rigged” and will expose widespread voter fraud.

Trump admitted on Thursday that “it’s going to be a very hard thing to concede” because of the “massive fraud” he claims took place in this election.

“As to whether or not we can get this apparatus moving quickly — because time isn’t on our side, everything else is on our side, facts are on our side, this was a massive fraud,” Trump stated. “This was a rigged election…This race is far from over.”
