President Trump announced he will be holding a rally in Georgia on Saturday, campaigning for Senators Loeffler and Perdue in their runoff races.
He made the announcement during a press conference on Thanksgiving.

“I’ll be in Georgia, and we’ll have a tremendous crowd. We’re looking for the right site. Probably we’d love to take one of the big stadiums but you can’t because of the covid,” he added.

The announcement follows reports that supporters of President Trump are considering boycotting the Georgia election, with many voters viewing the presidential election this month as being tainted by massive voter fraud.
In a tweet, the President claimed that “the 2020 Election was a total scam,” but that voters “must get out and help David and Kelly, two GREAT people,” otherwise they would be “playing right into the hands of some very sick people.”
No, the 2020 Election was a total scam, we won by a lot (and will hopefully turn over the fraudulent result), but we must get out and help David and Kelly, two GREAT people. Otherwise we are playing right into the hands of some very sick people. I will be in Georgia on Saturday! https://t.co/1ziqFq9S6O

“We Will ALWAYS Have His Back”
Senator Loeffler thanked President Trump for his announcement of the Georgia rally to support herself and Senator Perdue.
“We will ALWAYS have his back – and I’m so honoured he has ours,” Loeffler tweeted.
I’m excited to welcome @realDonaldTrump back to Georgia next Saturday for a rally with @Perduesenate & me! We will ALWAYS have his back — and I’m so honored he has ours! #gapol #gasen pic.twitter.com/7it5FYEuSP

In a campaign event two weeks ago, Loeffler argued that she and Perdue were the “firewall” against a Democrat controlled Senate, protecting not just the legislature but the “future of our country” as well.
“We will be your voice in Washington if you’re our voice on January the 5th,” she said.
Perdue echoed these sentiments in an interview with Fox and Friends on Tuesday.
“We are the last line of defense,” Perdue argued. “These two seats here will determine the majority in the Senate.”
Loeffler and Perdue being re-elected would help deny Senator Schumer a majority, and “protect everything that President Trump has accomplished in the last four years, and make sure that the people of Georgia know that,” Perdue continued.
