House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-CA, won’t renounce the hard left and socialism. It would kill her base and drive a wedge between her and socialists like AOC, who run her party in the House.

During a presser late last week, Pelosi said that there was a “difference of opinion” among members of her caucus. The rift between moderates and Bolsheviks appears to have widened following the recent election. It’s a big divide. It’s wide enough for the Republicans to leverage to take back the House in 2022.

In 2019, Pelosi insisted on a “60 Minutes” interview that socialism was “not the view” of the Democrats. She was lying.

Hard left groups have nevertheless slammed Pelosi in their autopsy on the House election for “showing off” her posh freezers full of expensive Jeni’s ice cream during an interview at the beginning of the virus. Hence the moniker “Nancy Antoinette.”

“When Democratic leaders make unforced errors like showing off two sub-zero freezers full of ice cream on national television or cozy up with Wall Street executives and corporate lobbyists while Trump tells voters we are the party of the swamp, it is not surprising that we lose,” reads the memo, which was written by groups including Justice Democrats and the Sunrise Movement. Like them or not, those people have a point. Pelosi made a bunch of unforced errors.

“The economy was voters’ top concern in this election,” the memo said. “We need a new generation of leadership grounded in a multiracial, working class experience and background.” Annnd, they ruin it.

The memo comes after House Democrats lost big on election night, with some moderate Democrats blaming their tough races on the crazies on the hard left. Democrat Rep. Abbie Spanberger of Virginia had a meltdown on a conference call and told the hard left to basically go coit themselves. She almost lost her seat to a tough Republican challenger, who tied her to the socialists, and she was not amused.

Rep. Cheri Bustos, D-IL, who chaired the Democratic Campaign Congressional Committee, said she was stepping down after the party lost seats. Why? Because they were supposed to win seats.

Given the ballot harvesting and general cheating going on by the Democrats, they should have picked up about 10 districts. They will lose about a dozen, making any Pelosi or Biden legislation hard to enact in the House because a united GOP and just several Democrat moderates, especially those from swing districts, could stop it.

And this is all Pelosi’s fault. She was told time and time again during the campaign to put a muzzle on AOC and the Squad. Pros told her, the Democrat press told her, other Democrat House members told her. But she wouldn’t. Now, she suffers the consequences. Amusing indeed.
