Early Sunday, President Trump tweeted “He won because the Election was Rigged. NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a Radical Left privately owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more!”

Notice how they both use the past tense when referring to the election. That’s the game. The man himself admits it in the first line.

The president is smart. He knew what he was saying. The qualification was for the courts and history. Now it’s a two month sprint to try and protect his legacy, to try and protect the process for future elections and try to protect his accomplishments from the coming assaults.

To draw a historical analogy: In April of 1975, when the NVA took Saigon, one of our negotiators in Paris, US Army Colonel Harry Summers, told his NVA counterpart, “You never beat us in the field.” The NVA Colonel responded, “True Harry. And also irrelevant.” Same thing in this election. It’s over.

In Vietnam they beat us in the media, pop culture, and Congress. This time the same type of people beat us in the media, pop culture, and by stealing the race on election day and night. Do we have a glimmer of hope left in the courts? Yes. But only an improbable flicker. Ergo…

Dr. Tim Blessing, of Alvernia University: “Yesterday I purchased a data set of the preliminary county returns. NV is out of reach—period. AZ might be doable, but the recount limits in AZ make it fantastically hard to get a recount. GA might happen. WI—the gap is sizable even if there is a recount. MI—I just do not see as reachable. PA—I honestly believe Trump very narrowly won but the sheer volume of court challenges Trump would need to win makes it hard to see a way to get there. He lost. Period. Politics is a tough game.”

I don’t know of a better analyst than Tim Blessing. So, where do we go from here? We fight.

The president and his legal team fight on to establish this was a stolen election and to pave the way for the fair administration of other elections. The president prepares to help us take back the House and plans his own 2024 run. This could be Inauguration Day, January, 2025.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

In the meantime, we get drunk or deal with the loss as we see fit. Adults get a day or two for that. Then we get a grip, dust ourselves off, and get to work. And we also, this will be hard to take, give Biden the benefit of the doubt and wish him well until he starts behaving like a hard left Democrat in the Oval Office. Which, according to his own public statements, will be about 10 minutes after he’s inaugurated.

But we’d be immature hypocrites if, after hearing and decrying the left’s “he’s not my president” horse manure for four years we did the same thing. Joe Biden is the president-elect and will, barring unforeseen circumstances, be inaugurated in January. All the kvetching in the world is unlikely to stop that now. So buck yourselves up and get ready to fight with every political means at our disposal. The Hun sings tonight. But we will sing again…
