First Lady Melania Trump is following her husband’s lead and refusing to offer to contact Jill Biden, the wife of Joe Biden.

Melania has stood by President Donald Trump so far as he’s continued to refuse to concede to Biden, pledging to fight alleged election fraud by taking the matter to court.

“The American people deserve fair elections. Every legal – not illegal – vote should be counted,” Melania tweeted over the weekend. “We must protect our democracy with complete transparency.”

Meanwhile, Jill has been already started building her staff, taking it for granted that Trump’s legal efforts will fail and that she will indeed be the next First Lady.

“Dr. Biden is enormously grateful to the country for electing her husband and Senator Harris. Joe Biden will be a President for all Americans. She is spending time with her children and grandchildren in Wilmington, Delaware,” her spokesman Michael LaRosa told Daily Mail.

“Dr. Biden is focused on building her team and developing her priorities focused on education, military families and veterans, and cancer,” he added.

Melania and Michelle Obama had tea together as the current First Lady prepared to move into the White House four years ago. Michelle claimed in 2018 that she had told Melania to call her if she ever needed any help with anything as First Lady.

“Has she reached out to you and asked for any help?” Michelle was asked that year, to which she responded, “No, no she hasn’t.”

Melania fired back in a blistering statement, with her spokeswoman saying that the First Lady has her own experts to ask for advice when she needs help.

“Mrs. Trump is a strong and independent woman who has been navigating her role as First Lady in her own way,” spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said at the time. “When she needs advice on any issue, she seeks it from her professional team within the White House.”

President Trump has continued to express confidence that his legal efforts against Biden will pay off. It remains to be seen how the next few weeks will go.
