Since the coronavirus first made its appearance in the US, Americans have done everything they could to stay afloat. Through the government lockdowns and even the riots that were seen by the Black Lives Matter movements, Americans seemed to be hopeful that we would beat this terrible virus. But during the pandemic, something happened. Americans needed help through the stimulus package and now the Democrats don’t want to answer the call.
The stimulus package was meant to help out Americans. It was meant to put food on the table and make ends meet, but the Democrats saw it as something more. They wanted to use it as a bargaining chip. If the Democrats were to win the White House then Pelosi would talk about another round of stimulus checks, but where are they?
I just sent this letter to the 23 House Democrats who told Pelosi in September that they would move forward with COVID-19 relief with or without her.
Now it's time for them to live up to their word. pic.twitter.com/fpu4RM8knZ

On Friday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) sent out a letter pleading to House Democrats to step aside from Pelosi and do the right thing. In his letter, he states, “On September 27, nearly two months ago, you signed a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi stating: ‘It is our request that you continue to negotiate towards a bipartisan deal. Otherwise, a discharge petition is the only potential option for COVID-19 related action on the House Floor…’ As we know, no bipartisan deal has yet been reached.”
When Americans were first in trouble, it was the Republicans who stood up and pushed the Democrats to approve the stimulus checks, but now it appears the Democrats don’t want to approve a second round. Yet at the same time, the Democrats like Andrew Cuomo are taking pay raises in the form of $25,000. But remember, if they had the money – they would give it to us. But wait, isn’t it our money to begin with?
The White House is even trying to make a deal with Pelosi as they said on Friday that GOP leaders will, “come up with a plan to sit down with Pelosi and Schumer and try to get a targeted bill done for the people that really need it.” It is still unclear if Pelosi and Schumer will approve any deal that would help ease the pain of COIVD-19.
