Election Day has come and gone, but the results are still very much in limbo for a hotly contested race between President Trump and Democrat challenger Joe Biden.
Different news outlets are showing different final results for some states – as it currently stands, by Fox News’ count, Biden leads the electoral vote count with 238 votes to Trump’s 213.
The New York Times has Biden at 227 and Trump at 213.
The winner would need to capture 270 votes to declare victory.
Results in six states, however, are too close to call. Those states include Nevada, North Carolina, Georgia, along with the critical swing states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Here’s What You Need To Know For Each State
Nevada
With 86 percent of precincts reporting, Nevada is showing a slim lead for the former vice president of just over 7,600 votes.
The state’s election division announced Wednesday morning that results would not be updated until noon on Thursday.
They still need to count mail-in ballots received on Election Day.
Here’s what is left to count:

-Mail ballots that will be received over the next week
-Provisional ballotsBallots outstanding is difficult to estimate in Nevada because every voter was sent a mail ballot. Obviously, not all will vote.

Accoring to the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, “There was no explanation why the results would pause for a full day.”
North Carolina
The NYT election needle lists the Tarheel State as “probably Trump” with 95 percent of the ballots already reported.
The President currently leads by over 76,000 votes.
Georgia
The Times lists Georgia as “tilting Biden” with 92 percent of votes estimated to have been tallied.
Trump currently leads by over 103,000 votes.
Counting is expected to be complete in the Peach State on Wednesday.
A burst pipe in Fulton County resulted in a delay in absentee-by-mail processing operations.
“Elections board member Mark Wingate said he believes they won’t have results until Friday,” according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Pennsylvania
With 76 percent of estimated votes counted, President Trump leads by 11 points and nearly 600,000 votes.
Still, the Times lists Pennsylvania as a state that Biden is “expected to win narrowly.”
Officials there state most votes should be counted by Friday, November 6th, according to ABC.
Michigan
Biden currently leads Trump by 0.2 percentage points and well under 10,000 votes.
90 percent of total ballots have been counted, though Fox News reports that “the largest counties in Michigan are still tabulating votes.”
Wisconsin
Wisconsin is also showing a razor-thin advantage for Biden of just over 20,000 votes and 0.7 percentage points.
Governor Tony Evers has previously suggested he expects results by Wednesday.

Biden and Trump Discuss The Election Results So Far
Democrat nominee Joe Biden gave a speech late last night in which he expressed confidence that the results would tilt in his favor.
“We knew this was going to go long,” Biden said, noting that the race would likely continue into the following day.
“We feel good about where we are. We really do.”

President Trump, meanwhile, feels the results as they stand are enough to indicate he has won.
“We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election,” Trump said.

He went on to suggest that the process was a “fraud” and hinted at a protracted legal battle on the horizon.
“We’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court,” Trump said. “We don’t want them to find any ballots at 4:00 in the morning and add them to the list.”
He added, “It’s a very sad moment. To me, this is a very sad moment, and we will win this.”
