With polls already beginning the close around the country, Americans are gathering around their televisions, waiting for the results of the 2020 election. For students at George Washington University, the election might be a little more serious as they all received an alert from the school, warning them to stockpile food and supplies ahead of the results tonight.

Over the past couple of months, the polls have shown favor for the Democratic hopeful Joe Biden. But like 2016, never count Trump out. Hillary Clinton believed the polls a little too much, to the point that she didn’t even write a concession speech and found herself on the losing side of the night. With the polls unclear as to which way the election will go – universities are afraid that violence will strike several cities around the country not matter the outcome.

If Trump is able to secure his re-election, Black Lives Matter has already called for members of their giant following to promote violence to police and government officials if Biden isn’t able to secure the presidency.  And like usual, the Democrats continue to support the BLM and Antifa movement not daring to condemn their popular voter base.

As for George Washington University, the Assistant Director of Media Relations Crystal Newcombe Nosal told the Campus Reform, “GW is following the lead of the D.C. Government who asked area businesses to prepare for a very active election season.”  She went on to add, “many of our faculty and staff, for example, have research projects on campus that they may want to take home for several days so that there is no interruption to their research.”

So instead of relying on the police for safety, several cities around the country have decided to vacate their responsibilities and just leave the people to defend themselves. Before you even ask, most of these states are ran by the Democrats, who wouldn’t dare fight fire with fire. And let’s not forget that the Democrats also want to take guns out of the hands of Americans because it is too dangerous, yet BLM and Antifa loot and pillage without any restriction other than from President Donald Trump.
