A child from Burlington, Wisconsin has found himself in the middle of a heated debate as he took it upon himself to write a hateful message to the Black Lives Matter movement in the woodchips at the local playground. Although just a child, the police now want to charge him with a misdemeanor, claiming that he committed crimes against certain people and property.

First found back in September, it took the police several months to figure out the child that scribbled the message in the first place. While using the most up to date detective skills, the police were able to see that the child wrote “Die n***** Die” and “Down with BLM”.

This is a travesty that a child among any type of person is filled with so much hate that it makes one wonder the type of people behind the child. Through some investigation, we were able to find that the message comes during a heated debate at the school. According to the school, the district had a hostile board meeting where parents were outraged that their 4th-grade children were being taught about Black Lives Matter. Feeling that it favored a liberal viewpoint and was nothing more than propaganda – the parents believed it shouldn’t be taught.

The message in the woodchips would be found just three days after the board meeting where parents and officials both acted out of sorts and character, especially in front of children. Still, If the child is seen as a juvenile and is charged with the misdemeanor, he could face up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. It could be both, but what is a fine compared to a ruined life and a year in jail due to it being a class B misdemeanor.

It was also back in November when another board meeting at the school was interrupted by the BLM members and police ultimately had to get involved when things turned physical and fights broke out, yet where are the fines and jail time for the adults? A child is acting out of hate brought on by these two groups clashing over what is being taught in the classroom. While I agree that what is being taught is important – how we raise our children is vastly superior. Always has and always will be.
