Months after the singer and pop star Cher said that she would never get a COVID-19 vaccine while President Donald Trump is still in the White House, she is now changing her tune and saying that she will indeed get an injection, but only after Joe Biden is vaccinated.

“I Said I Would Never get Vaccine as long a trump was in White House,” Cher tweeted on Wednesday. “Moment Joe Gets Vaccinated I will Get in line & Get my vaccination. This has Nothing to Do With my Respect,& Love For Joe.I Know Him..HE WOULD NEVER PUT US OR OUR COUNTRY IN DANGER.”

Back in August, Cher took to Twitter to say that she would never get a vaccine while Trump is still in office, nonsensically writing:

I’ve gotten Vaccines during my life,1st One I Remember was Polio,BUT THERE IS NO FKNG WAY IM TAKING A VACCINE THAT TRUMP WONT LET GO THROUGH THE THIRD & MOST IMPORTANT SAFETY TRIAL.WINNING AT ANY COST IS ALL HE CARES ABOUT. 176K .NOW,300K. BY DEC. “IT IS WHAT IT IS”

Cher campaigned for Biden and spent years launching deranged attacks on Trump during his first four years in office.

“Look, I’m sorry he’s president,” she said while campaigning for Biden in Arizona last month. “I’m sorry he was ever president. I feel sorry for what he’s done to our standing in the world. I feel really sorry for America.”

Cher went on to blame Trump for coronavirus deaths, something she has been doing for months.

“I see what’s happening to people, and it kills me,” she said. “I don’t know why it doesn’t kill him that 225,000 people have died. Where does he keep that place that is supposed to be his heart? Because he definitely doesn’t care about America. I don’t care how many rallies he has. It’s not about America. It’s about him. It’s about him getting his feelings of inadequacy satiated.”

As for Biden, Cher said she’s known him for years, and she likes him a lot.

“I know what kind of a person he is,” she said. “I know that he’s compassionate. We all know that. And that’s the truth.”
