Over the past four years, President Trump has built one of the largest economies the world has seen. Jobs are booming, business is thriving – it was a great time for America. Then COVID-19 hit and the world was thrown into chaos as countries locked their doors and fell silent. Since then, the president has come under fire for his stance on the virus and the unnecessary regulations that followed. But secretly, the Trump Administration has been working on a vaccine that will be FREE to senior citizens once it is available.
The explosive news comes when the Democrats continue to attack President Trump for not taking the virus “serious.” When they mean serious, they are referring to the lockdowns that have crippled our economy. President Trump has left it up to the states to decide how to treat the virus, but now he is taking a different approach to save the lives of those most vulnerable in our society.
Teaming up with two of the largest pharmacies in the United States, the Trump Administration announced Friday that CVS Health and Walgreens would be helping distribute the vaccine once it is available. As for senior citizens – the cost will be completely free other than a trip to your local CVS or Walgreens.
Supporting the current push for free vaccines, the Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said in a Twitter post that the partnership would specifically target residents in nursing homes. While most seniors have access to a nearby pharmacy, nursing home residents can sometimes have a difficult time getting their vaccines. Thanks to the secretary and President Trump, that won’t be the case when it comes to COVID.

Since announcing the advancement in a vaccine, the White House has been experimenting with ways to help cover the cost. President Trump believes the vaccines should be free for those who qualify, but the programs don’t cover drugs approved via emergency authorizations. As it stands, Medicare only covers young people with disabilities and people aged 65 and over.
Still, with so much red tape in the way, President Trump continues to prove his critics wrong. First, they said there wouldn’t be a vaccine, now the Democrats say it won’t be free. No matter what the POTUS does, the Democrats won’t be happy until it is their own in the White House.
