President Donald Trump fired back at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Friday after she launched her 25th amendment push by claiming that her real target is Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Trump immediately responded on Twitter after Pelosi’s announced that Congress is considering legislation on how to remove a president from office, alleging that she is actually targeting Joe Biden, should he win in November.

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is looking at the 25th Amendment in order to replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “The Dems want that to happen fast because Sleepy Joe is out of it!!!”

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany also blasted Pelosi, claiming that it’s her who is unfit for office. She took to Twitter to post a humiliating video in which Pelosi responded to a question about potentially impeaching Trump again with, “Good morning, Sunday morning.”

“The only one who needs the 25th Amendment is Nancy Pelosi herself,” McEnany wrote alongside the video. “‘Good Morning, Sunday Morning,’ she bizarrely blurts out after suggesting impeaching President @realDonaldTrump for exercising his Art. II, Sec. II power! Stop projecting, Nancy!”

This came one day after Pelosi publicly questioned Trump’s health, saying that he was “in an altered state” from his coronavirus treatment. On Friday, she announced plans to create a commission that would allow Congress to oust a president from office, using the 25th Amendment, though suggesting it would take effect after Trump leaves office.

“This is not about President Trump,” Pelosi said. “He will face the judgment of the voters. But he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents.”

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) added that Trump’s COVID-19 case had “focused everybody’s mind on the need for following through on this suggestion in the 25th Amendment that Congress set up its own body. And I think again in the age of COVID-19, where a lot of government actors who have been afflicted by it, we need to act,” according to USA Today.

When asked if Trump met the threshold for passing power to the vice president under the 25th Amendment, Pelosi replied, “That’s not for us to decide.”
