Former “Cheers” star Kirstie Alley found herself being attacked by the liberal elites of Hollywood after she dared to endorse President Donald Trump on Saturday. Now, she is firing back at them in a big way.
It all started when Alley took to Twitter to defy the liberal world of Hollywood by saying that she is indeed voting for Trump in next month’s election.
“I’m voting for @realDonaldTrump because he’s NOT a politician,” tweeted Alley, 69. “I voted for him 4 years ago for this reason and shall vote for him again for this reason. He gets things done quickly and he will turn the economy around quickly. There you have it folks there you have it.”

This simple tweet was enough to “trigger” the liberal snowflakes of Hollywood, who proceeded to launch the most vile attacks possible on the actress.
“Shelly Long was way funnier than you,” tweeted Hollywood producer Judd Apatow, referring to the fact that Alley replaced long on “Cheers.”
“Kirstie Alley’s tweet screamed ‘I can’t read! I don’t watch the news! Black Lives Don’t Matter! My body, your choice! and Pussies wear masks! And sexuality is a preference!’” wrote “Insecure” actress Natasha Rothwell. “But all I can think about is how 87% of the people on here will have to google who she is.”
Instead of backing down, Alley fired back at the critics who were attacking her.
“Don’t think I’ve ever seen so much name-calling in my life,” she tweeted. “Definitely not on my site here anyway I guess I’m not allowed to have a viewpoint without being called a really nasty names by what I’m going to suppose are really nasty people.”

When one fan tweeted that all of the hate Alley was getting must make her glad she’s not a Democrat, the actress responded, “Never encountered such horrible people in my life.. I’ve been lucky I guess.”
Alley concludes by telling her followers to stand strong when it comes to their opinions.
“Stick to your guns,” she wrote. “Not always easy to be under fire but always easier than going against your own integrity. & JUST REMEMBER: if it takes thousands to try & bring u down, you must be one powerful Mfer Love wins.”‘
