Court packing means adding more justices to the Supreme Court. But to justify a naked power grab, Democrats have tried to redefine it as anytime a Republican is appointed to the court. Now these Democrats are playing semantics by accusing Republicans of packing the courts by merely appointing Republicans. Thus, goes their logic, Democrats can now play by the same rules and add justices to the Supreme Court. Confused? Don’t be. It’s just more Democrat malarkey.

Even the ABC chick gabfest “The View” got into the act, “Republicans have been packing, not only the federal judiciary, they have been packing the Supreme Court by design. That has been the Republican plan, and in order to unpack the Supreme Court, meaning unpack the culture, unpack the values that are on the Supreme Court, in order to do that you would have to add either term limits, age limits or you would have to add justices, which would then balance the Supreme Court, which would lead to an unpacking,” Hostin said, intentionally flipping the way the term is normally used when referring to the Supreme Court.” Just language games to cover up their unconstitutional plans.

Guest Bari Weiss set her straight, “Packing the court is about adding more justices to the bench, which is something like AOC and Ilhan Omar are advocating for. Packing the court doesn’t mean appointing justices that some people don’t like. I think that’s really where the debate is.” Other left wing groups also got into the act.

“This court is illegitimate, and must not be allowed to wreak misery on millions of Americans in service of a far-right minority and their corporate backers. Congressional Democrats must end the filibuster and pass legislation to expand the court. Should he win, Joe Biden must sign it into law,” said 21 New York Democrat elected officials.

Senator Elizabeth Warren, Democrat of Massachusetts, also appeared to be in favor of court packing, as she said “every option” should be available to “expand” American democracy.

“Every option needs to be on the table to restore the Supreme Court’s credibility & integrity. Every option to expand our democracy. Every option to ensure that all Americans have equal justice in our courts & representation in our institutions,” said Senator Elizabeth Warren, Democrat of Massachusetts. Note the use of the word “expand” as a dog whistle.

But Mitch McConnell has their number, “They may have ratcheted up a little bit lately, but this isn’t anything new. They’ve been promising to blow up the Senate by changing the filibuster rule, admitting two new states — [Washington] D.C. and Puerto Rico — to give them four new Democratic senators … They were talking about that earlier in the year. Nothing new, same old threats and intimidation by the hard left.”
