The national press secretary for the presidential campaign of Joe Biden went bonkers on live television when he was asked if the former vice president ever uses a teleprompter for interviews with reporters.
Though Fox News host Bret Baier asked Biden spokesman TJ Ducklo the question multiple times, the press secretary never answered it.
“Has Joe Biden ever used a teleprompter during local interviews or to answer Q&A with supporters?” Baier asked.
“Bret, we’re not gonna— this is straight from the Trump campaign talking points,” Ducklo replied, to which Baier said, “Well, yeah, they’re using it.”
“What it does, Bret, is it’s trying to distract the American people,” Ducklo added.
“They’re using it. They talk about it every day,” Baier stated. “Can you say yes or no?”
A heated back and forth ensued, with Baier continuing to ask the question while Ducklo refused to answer it.
Bret Baier just asked Biden's National Press Sec a simple yes or no question:

Social media users were left stunned by the exchange.
“Biden spox asked by Bret Baier if Biden uses a teleprompter in interviews. Spokesman accuses Baier — one of the most respected journalists in the business — of pushing Trump talking points while refusing to answer yes or no,” tweeted The Hill‘s Joe Concha. “Attacking the messenger means you’ve lost the argument.”
Ducklo also lost his cool at another point in the interview, when he was asked what Biden would have done differently than Trump did in handling the coronavirus pandemic. Instead of answering the question, Ducklo came unglued as he insisted that Biden was not against Trump’s travel ban.
“Let me just clarify,” Baier said. “You’re saying that Joe Biden was for closing down travel from China when the president did it?”
Ducklo then attacked Fox News, saying, “I know you all like to cite the travel ban.”
“No, no, no, the president does,” Baier responded. “That’s why I’m bringing it up. Obviously it’s going to be in the debate.”
Ducklo sure likes to duck pertinent questions as it relates to the Biden campaign. Watch:
