Rob Reiner Unravels Over Election: ‘Whether We Live Or Die Depends On Our Vote’

The Hollywood actor and director Rob Reiner had yet another deranged political meltdown on Friday, this time going so far as to say that November’s presidential election will determine “whether we live or die.”

“We are at an existential crossroads. Whether we live or die actually depends on our vote,” Reiner wrote.

While it’s unclear what exactly Reiner was referring to here, it’s likely he was talking about the fact that President Donald Trump is planning to name a replacement to fill the Supreme Court seat that was left vacant by the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday. Reiner has already blasted Republicans for even considering naming a replacement for Ginsburg before the election.

Do you agree that protesting is acceptable, but rioting is not?

“Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s body isn’t even cold and Mitch McConnell is dancing on her grave,” Reiner wrote on Saturday. “This is war. Dems have powerful weapons. Now is the time to use them.”

This came after McConnell announced that Trump’s nominee “will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate,” which is controlled by a Republican majority. This would be the third Supreme Court justice of Trump’s presidency, and would cement a strong conservative majority on the highest court in the land.

Reiner, who might just be the most anti-Trump personality in Hollywood, has often argued that removing the president from office is a matter of life and death. Last month, he nonsensically argued that the GOP platform for the 2020 presidential election is based on allowing Trump to promote “white supremacy” and to “lett[ing] Americans die.”

“The GOP has finalized its 2020 platform: Allow Donald Trump to continue to promote White Supremacy, reject Science, cozy up to Dictators, commit Federal Crimes, and let Americans die,” he wrote back in August. “Oh, and yes continue to be a fucking Sociopathic Ignoramus.”

Reiner is so full of himself that he actually seems to think he’s hurting Trump with these rants, but in reality, he’s just showing the world what an ignorant fool he is himself.
