Michael Rapaport is a liberal comedic actor who enjoys spending his free time launching below the belt attacks on President Donald Trump and his family. That’s why it came as a surprise this week when Rapaport turned on one of his own, and decided to go after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) instead.

Rapaport took to Twitter on Tuesday to blast Ocasio-Cortez for ignoring the crime surge in her own city and choosing to focus on what she describes as “family separation” that she claims happens at the United States’ border with Mexico.

“It’s astounding that after a massive family separation operation, mass sexual assault of detainees, trapping immigrants in COVID-infected detention centers, and now reports of mass hysterectomies (which the US has done before), abolishing ICE is controversial,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “Where’s the line?”

While Rapaport did not disagree with her, he made it clear that he feels like her focus is misplaced.

“Definitely & the 177% Increase in Shootings in NYC is also astounding and heartbreaking but you never bring that stuff up for some reason & you Rep NYC,” Rapaport fired back at her. “Where’s the Line?”

Not stopping there, Rapaport said that the shooting surge in New York City is also a racial issue, since many of the victims are minorities, a group Ocasio-Cortez proclaims herself to be fighting for.

“Why is it so hard to discuss the Murders & Shootings of Black & Brown People in our cities that happen DAILY. Every Day Multiple Times A Day,” he added. “Can this and Police Brutality BOTH be issues and acknowledged? BLACk & BROWN people KILLED daily & it’s not discussed EVER. Why Why Why?”

Though Rapaport is notorious for his profanity-laced attacks on the entire Trump family, this is not the first time he has gone after Ocasio-Cortez. Back in July, he called her out for ignoring the shooting death of a 1 year-old boy in Brooklyn and urged her to do more about crime in the city she was elected to represent.

“Y’all don’t wanna push @AOC to be great? Y’all think she’s perfect? F*** like able. F*** charismatic. I want HONEST REALITY,” he ranted two months ago. “I don’t give a s*** about all that cute s***. She knows exactly what the f*** it is and it ain’t about Bread being stolen. I don’t PICK sides with them.”
