University of Rhode Island history professor Erik Loomis this week endorsed the murder of political opponents and tried to give it the sanctity of a moral act. In higher education in America today he will keep his post and be lauded by his colleagues. In any sane education system he would be fired. Loomis speaks here of murderer Michael Reinoehl, who killed Trump supporter Aaron “Jay” Danielson in cold blood last week in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

“I am extremely anti-conspiracy theory. But it’s not a conspiracy theory at this point in time to wonder if the cops simply murdered him,” Loomis wrote. “The police is shot through with fascists from stem to stern. They were openly working with the fascists in Portland, as they were in Kenosha which led to dead protestors.” The guy is a lunatic. Thus, he fits in quite well in a modern faculty lounge.

“Michael Reinoehl is the guy who killed the fascist in Portland last week,” Loomis wrote on a Sept. 4 blog post. “He admitted it and said he was scared the cops would kill him. Well, now the cops have killed him.” In the comments section of the blog, a reader appeared to challenge Loomis’ defense of Reinoehl, writing: “Erik, he shot and killed a guy.”

Loomis responded: “[Reinoehl] killed a fascist. I see nothing wrong with it, at least from a moral perspective.” So, if you are labeled a “fascist” by Loomis you deserve death. Thus, any questions as to the political attitude of the Democrats and their allies toward the rest of America? Good. Next topic.

Meanwhile, at Ivy League Cornell University, race hustlers are plying their trade. That commerce would be blind ignorant hatred masquerading as a quest for equality. A faculty group wrote a letter to the Cornell administration. It read, “…every ‘colorblind’ event, mechanism, and process at the university — from new faculty orientations to selection of endowed positions — perpetuates racial disparities and reinforces an unjust status quo.” So, just like the Klan, these people want decisions based primarily on race.

Their demands are to “Increase representation of black faculty to 7 percent in 2025 and to 10 percent in 2030. Increase representation of other faculty of color to 20 percent in 2025 and 25 percent in 2030, in line with the percentage of new PhDs conferred in the US. Create benchmarks for increasing BIPOC [Black, Indigenous, and People of Color] faculty in those departments and disciplines with the most severe underrepresentation.” Racial quotas solely based on color, never on merit. Racism at its most basically brutal and venomous.

They also want an end to “colorblind recruitment polices and practices in partner/spousal hiring,” as well as “partner/spousal hires to all BIPOC faculty, including assistant professors.” They admit it. No colorblind policies. Special treatment for some. Everybody else can pound sand.

“The defining question is whether the discrimination is creating equity or inequity,” a leader of this noxious collection of race hustlers and pseudo-intellectuals writes. “If discrimination is creating equity, then it is antiracist. If discrimination is creating inequity, then it is racist. … The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.” You read that right. To cure racism you just practice it against another people. People, who to you, don’t matter. To them, that’s justice. To any decent and honest person, it’s bigoted lunacy.
