Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner attempted to explain why her show cut off Newt Gingrich while he tried to address left-wing billionaire George Soros.
Gingrich, the former House Speaker, joined a group of panelists Wednesday and was asked his opinion on violence and unrest afflicting major American cities.
He accurately pointed out Soros’ role in trying to overhaul the U.S. justice system by pouring money into district attorney races across the country.
The problem, Gingrich opined, was due to “George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up.”
“Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’s money,” he said.
The Fox News panel did not respond kindly to the analysis.
This is one of the weirdest exchanges I’ve ever seen on TV. @newtgingrich correctly points out that George Soros threw an unprecedented amount of money into DA races all over the country to elect radicals and Fox News basically told him to shut up. WTF? pic.twitter.com/IxwcLG2gOH

Two other panelists on the show objected to the truth being exposed about Soros.
“I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this,” said co-host Melissa Francis in a bizarre retort.
Democrat activist Marie Harf gleefully concurred saying, “No, he didn’t. I agree with Melissa. George Soros doesn’t need to be a part of this conversation.”
‘No, he didn’t’ is exactly why Gingrich needed to be allowed to speak. ‘No he didn’t’ is false information.
He did, and it’s readily available information for anyone even vaguely curious about the truth.

Newt Gingrich is Right About George Soros
Harf’s assertion that Soros didn’t pay to overhaul the justice system by funding pro-criminal district attorneys is incorrect.
In 2018, he pumped almost $1 million into a Texas district attorney’s race against a Democratic DA who opposed sanctuary cities.
The Los Angeles Times ran a column that year noting that the left-wing billionaire was “spending millions of dollars.”
The money was an effort “to back would-be prosecutors who want to reduce incarceration … revamp a bail system they contend unfairly imprisons poor people before trial.”
In 2019, Soros likewise injected $800,000 into the campaign of Shani Curry Mitchell in Rochester, New York, though she was defeated.

And in 2016, Politico reported that “Soros has directed his wealth into … reshaping the American justice system.”
“The billionaire financier has channeled more than $3 million into seven local district-attorney campaigns in six states over the past year,” they wrote.
None of that can be discussed it would seem.
“OK. So it’s verboten,” a perplexed Gingrich replied.
Faulkner’s Lacking Explanation of Why the Fox News Show Won’t Allow Discussion of Soros
Faulkner addressed the controversy over panelists shutting down Gingrich’s analysis on Thursday’s show.
“So, we had a little incident on the show yesterday that was not smooth,” she began.
“And while I was leading that segment we had interruptions and I sat silently while all of that played out, also not ideal.”

“Newt Gingrich, who is beloved and needed to be allowed to speak with the openness and respect that this show is all about, was interrupted,” Faulkner continued.
“Do we debate with fire here? Yes! But we must also give each other the space to express ourselves.”
“We don’t censor on this show,” Faulkner concluded.
Except, you did.
