Obama administration official and CNN pundit Van Jones admitted Wednesday on CNN that the Democrats control the violent riots taking place across America. What Jones doesn’t understand by his admission is that he is also virtually admitting that the Democrats are holding the nation hostage.

It’s a simple hostage situation: they continue to hold America’s major cities in their grip until we elect Joe Biden and the Bolsheviks who come to office with him. Also sounds like a national extortion racket. Pay us in votes, or else the riots go on.

Now, seeing the poll numbers rise for President Trump on just this matter, Jones wants the riots to stop until election day. He wants to switch the narrative to the president and his alleged bumbling of the virus response. What Jones neglects to mention is that Democrat governors, not the president, have been responsible for the virus response in much of America. When a Republican is in charge, like Kristi Noem of South Dakota, the effects have been much less severe than in Democrat-controlled states like New York and California.

“The longer we talk about violence and unrest and how he’s handling it or not handling it, it all advantages Trump,” Jones began. “In other words, this campaign is going well for Donald Trump because we’re not talking about the economic devastation that people are experiencing or the virus really. And I think it’s time for us to recognize—we are in a very perilous situation if you want to see a change in November.”

Jones said, “The question is, how are Democrats and progressives going to deal with the edges of violence in our own movement? I think that Joe Biden can reach— can actually get to move his own movement in a better direction. We need a national moratorium on these nighttime marches. That would separate the responsible, productive demonstrations that have united the whole world from some of these other demonstrations that are just not as useful. There are things that Joe Biden and other progressives can do that can begin to push down on the violence in our movement and then turn it back toward the people who are actually suffering.” Notice “our movement.” Notice the admission on how “useful” the riots have been.

Jones insisted only “a couple of hundred businesses” have been hurt by rioters and that “there have been thousands that have been destroyed by mishandling this virus.” Notice how he blithely dismisses small businesses and seriously underestimates the number of small businesses destroyed by Democrat violence, arson, looting, and vandalism during the riots.

“We’ve got to get off of this conversation around unrest and back to the conversation around the literally millions of people who are suffering from the Trump economy and the mishandling of the virus,” Jones concluded.

This is a version of the same switch Biden and Harris are trying. They are trying to tell America that the anti-Trump riots in the streets are actually Trump’s fault because of an economy that Democrat governors destroyed. There will be Bolshevik robots who will buy this. The vast majority of the American people will not.
