House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has found herself in hot water this week after video surfaced of her breaking Democrats’ COVID-19 rules by getting her hair done inside a salon without wearing a mask. On Wednesday night, CNN host Chris Cuomo showed just how biased he really is when he somehow found a way to blame President Donald Trump for Pelosi’s humiliating scandal.

“AC360” guest host John Berman brought up the Pelosi incident while turning things over to Cuomo at the change of hour, saying that the House speaker had no proof to back up her claims that the scandal was a “set up,” adding that she should know the coronavirus rules that are in place in her own city.

“But, consider this, the crowds of unmasked and not socially distanced audience members at the president’s speech at the White House on the final day of the Republican Convention or the president’s own mask-less visit to a hurricane relief center in Louisiana last week,” Berman said after reading out a tweet from Trump on the Pelosi situation.

“The state’s own guidelines say masks should be warn when in public indoors and out. So, yes, it is fair to criticize the House speaker, who should have known better,” he added. “But it’s fair to criticize anyone who breaks the restrictions, guidelines, and just plain common sense we all should live by.”

Cuomo, however, could not look past his own Trump hatred long enough to criticize Pelosi.

“Maybe she was listening to the president who said masks are weakness, who’s always encouraging people to take off masks, who held his big speech about how to control the pandemic in front of a crowd that was largely without masks,” he said. “Maybe Pelosi’s falling under the influence.”

This came hours after Trump called for CNN to fire Cuomo after the host was caught in new audio denying sexual misconduct claims that have been made against him.

“Will Fredo be fired by Fake News @CNN?” Trump tweeted, referring to Cuomo by the nickname the CNN host hates. “He speaks with great disrespect about women, and it will only get worse. Fredo’s Ratings are bad, so this is the time. Always terrible to speak to sleazebags, especially when you are being recorded. CNN has no choice, Fredo must go!”
