On Tuesday, a federal grand jury returned a superseding indictment charging Democrat mega-donor Edward Buck with four new felonies.

These charges include allegedly luring victims to travel to participate in prostitution, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.

CBS News Los Angeles reported, “The four additional counts include one count alleging that Buck knowingly enticed 26-year-old Gemmel Moore to travel to the Los Angeles area to engage in prostitution and that he further allegedly provided methamphetamine to Moore, who overdosed on the drug and died on July 27, 2017.”

“Buck has also been charged with another count of enticing another man to travel with the intent of engaging in prostitution,” CBS News LA noted.

“The superseding indictment also charges Buck with one count of knowingly and intentionally distributing methamphetamine, and one count of using his residence for the purpose of distributing narcotics such as methamphetamine and the sedatives gamma hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) and clonazepam,” the report observed.

In January, after another man died of an overdose at Buck’s residence, Buck continued to solicit men for sexual favors and drugs. Authorities said that while an additional man who overdosed was able to escape, Buck tried to stop him.

Both of the men who died were African American. Buck has since been accused of preying on black men.

“It’s clear that there’s a pattern and a practice of Ed Buck to prey on vulnerable, young black gay men who are homeless, who are HIV positive, who he can manipulate with his money — and they end up dead inside his house,” said activist Jasmyne Cannick.

“No matter what Ed Buck’s attorney tries to spin it and say — it is very clear that Ed Buck plays a role in these young men’s deaths. He needs to be stopped,” Cannick added.

Buck has contributed to the campaigns of 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom, and Democratic Congressmen Adam Schiff and Ted Lieu.
