Portland Riots Continue for 70+ Days

The riots in Portland have continued for months, with violent Antifa communists and Black Lives Matter supporters attacking police and federal buildings. They have caused chaos and destruction throughout the city, and attacked many innocents.

Drew Duncomb, a black reporter for The Common Sense Conservative, was stabbed by Antifa members in Portland on July 25th. The attack was captured on video, and Duncomb managed to livestream during the ambulance trip to hospital.

Only yesterday, an elderly white woman was the target of the rioters. The woman, with a walker, attempted to stop the rioters from continuing their attack on the Portland Police precinct. She was attacked and received a dump of white paint on her for her troubles.

Wheeler: Riots and Attacking Police Will Only Help Trump

Not all on the left are supportive of the rioters, however. Mayor Wheeler was himself tear-gassed along with the rioters when they stormed a federal courthouse several weeks ago. Now, he warns the rioters that their actions are not conducive to the left triumphing in the election in November, and instead will only help President Trump.

“Don’t think for a moment that if you are participating in this activity, you are not being a prop for the reelection campaign of Donald Trump — because you absolutely are,” Wheeler said. “You are creating the B-roll film that will be used in ads nationally to help Donald Trump during this campaign. If you don’t want to be part of that, then don’t show up.”

He had even stronger words for the rioters, accusing them of trying to murder police officers and innocents:

“When you commit arson with an accelerant in an attempt to burn down a building that is occupied by people who you have intentionally trapped inside, you are not demonstrating, you are attempting to commit murder,” Wheeler said during an online press conference Thursday.

The Violent Left Will Get Trump Supporters Out To Vote!

I don’t usually agree with Democrats, but Wheeler is exactly right. If these riots continue as they are now, they only serve to show just how violent and aggressive the left in this country actually is. Should Biden get elected, the riots will continue, and get worse, and Trump supporters know that.
