It has been over 70 days since the peaceful protests, as the Democrats would call them, began in Portland and remarkably there seems to be no end in sight.

Democrats in Washington have argued the violent and destructive behavior happening in the city are peaceful, or in the case of Jerry Nadler – just a myth.  This despite what countless hours of video footage showing the contrary.  The simple way to describe the behavior of Antifa and Black Lives Matter anarchists in Portland is calling them what they are, animals.

There is no respect for other individuals, no emotional connection to reality and they are, clearly, incapable of controlling their behavior.

But as we saw with Mayor Libby Schaaf after increased violence in Oakland, CA, the feckless leader of Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler has now come out and warned the rioters in his city that their actions will only serve to help re-elect President Trump in November. And he is right.

He said this to the rioters in his city, “Don’t think for a moment that if you are participating in this activity, you are not being a prop for the reelection campaign of Donald Trump — because you absolutely are…You are creating the B-roll film that will be used in ads nationally to help Donald Trump during this campaign. If you don’t want to be part of that, then don’t show up.”

So Wheeler didn’t specifically call out their violence, but rather tried to twist things around on President Trump who is in no way responsible for the behavior and violence in Portland, Ted is.

Still, despite an inaccurate approach to his statement, the results remain true.  This violent behavior will re-elect President Donald Trump.

He did however make an additional statement Thursday about violence toward police officers and innocent people.  And the statement might be the most true thing he has ever said.

“When you commit arson with an accelerant in an attempt to burn down a building that is occupied by people who you have intentionally trapped inside, you are not demonstrating, you are attempting to commit murder.”

Again, he is right. The violence that everyday Americans are starting to see penetrate their communities is not settling well with anyone, and even the most casual observer can see that these are Democrat-run cities whose leadership should have stopped such insurrection on day one.

Sadly, the mainstream media has been complicit in the Democrat message of how these are peaceful protests, and not thus not showing footage of the violence.  This has kept some people in the dark, but everything is bubbling to the surface and the country is fed up.
