The riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin escalated once again last night, with rioters using Sunday’s police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake as an excuse to wreak havoc on the city. After days of burning and looting businesses and disrupting the lives of locals, on Wednesday night the rioters shifted their focus to targeting places of worship.
Protesters spray-painted “Free Palestine” at a Jewish synagogue and “BLM” on a Christian church sign. Townhall‘s Julio Rosas captured video footage of someone spray-painting “Free Palestine” in the driveway of Kenosha’s Beth Hillel Temple.

The synagogue had managed to escape any damage until last night, according to the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle.
“All around us, damage has happened. Fires have been started. Windows have been broken. Things have been written on walls. We’ve been spared so far, except for our power has been out,” Rabbi Dena Feingold.
The synagogue has been closed for months amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The one person who had been in the building, a retiree and former caretaker who lived there, had already been moved out because of safety concerns.

Feingold went on to say that she is far more worried about loss of life and the causes the protesters are marching for than about potential damages to the synagogue.
“I’m a lot more concerned about the loss of life that the Black community experiences on a regular basis because of systemic racism, because of the violence directed at them, than I am about whatever damage or costs are incurred for us because of it,” Feingold said on Tuesday.
Perhaps she is singing a very different tune now.
Rosas also captured a photo of what rioters did to a sign at Christ the King Church, where they spray-painted the letters “BLM” on it. This, of course, stands for “Black Lives Matter.”

The media is continuing to try and make it look like there are only “peaceful” protests happening in Kenosha, but this serves as a reminder that there are far more sinister and disturbing things going on there than the Left would have you believe.
