A Georgia man who became a viral sensation for taunting police while they searched for him just got exactly what was coming to him when he was arrested.

Police had been looking for William Reeves Durga, 21, on charges that he allegedly sold cocaine and used a communication facility during the commission of a felony, according to The Blaze.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation had posted a photo of Durga to social media on July 2 in the hopes of finding him. Durga then reportedly saw this photo and shared it to a TikTok video with a video of himself superimposed over the photo, dancing.

“Come and get me bi**h,” Durga wrote in the caption.

The video quickly went viral, garnering over four million views. Unfortunately for Durga, his taunting came back to bite him on Friday, when police took his challenge of coming to get him and finally arrested him.

After his arrest, Durga told the LaGrange Daily News that he was just trying to get even with law enforcement for “[blasting] me on social media.”

“Honestly, I’m not wanting to turn myself into Troup County Jail. It is so nasty and full of coronavirus,” Durga said. “They haven’t been doing the necessary things to keep it contained. It’s beyond overcrowded, nobody gets a court date, it’s just wrong how the inmates are treated. I haven’t been running, they never came to my house or anything. They straight blasted me on social media, so, I did it back.”

The LaGrange Police Department also addressed Durga’s arrest in a statement to social media.

“Reeves Durga has been arrested,” the department said. “The LPD and the GBI would like to thank the public’s assistance with his apprehension. Without Mr. Durga’s viral TikTok video, we would not have received the amount of tips and information that ultimately led to his arrest, thank you!!”
