One of the reasons the rioting, looting, and destruction won’t abate until after a possible Biden win is that Democrat extortionists are implicitly saying to the American people, “Just elect Biden and all this will seem like a bad dream. The riots will end. COVID will be magically cured. The press will herald happy days. Just give up the ideals of traditional America and with it your economic, cultural, and perhaps political freedom, and everything will be alright.”

It’s like a mobster visiting your home. The same mobster whose gang just blew up your car to show he means business. Now he’s saying, “I want this property. It’s nice. Shame about your car. Wouldn’t want anything else to blow up. In fact, I bet you’d like a new car. That’s no problem. Just sell your house to me.” Extortion pure and simple, and millions of Americans will fall prey to it. But not all. The question is: Will there be enough to stop it from happening to the whole country?

Even in Seattle there are still some who won’t buckle, and they called in to a City Council budget remote meeting Wednesday night to express their displeasure at the thought of being left vulnerable to the tender mercies of Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

“Defunding the police is a radical experiment that will hurt the vulnerable,” said one member of the public. But the veto-proof Democrats on the Council don’t care. They will have their pounds of ideological flesh at the expense of the citizens of Seattle.

Also mentioned at the meeting was the fact that the Seattle Police Officers Guild, the union representing police, has received more than 20,000 signatures on a “Stop Defunding” petition. At the same time the confab was going on, the war for Seattle’s streets continued, with the feds and local police coming under attack.

The police noted, “At about the same time, explosions occurred outside the precinct. Individuals in the crowd threw explosives at officers. One explosion occurred along the north wall of the precinct (on Pine Street), which blew a hole in the wall of the building.” And during the aftermath of the attack, police discovered an Antifa supply van.

The contents held “improvised shields, gas masks, baseball bats and a large assortment of pyrotechnic explosives inside the van,” police officials said.

After searching the vehicle, firework pyrotechnics, improvised spike strips and nails, bear mace, gas masks, homemade shields, helmets, shin guards and additional types of body armor were found. More ominously, the van held more supplies but it was evident after investigation that much of the radical supply trove had already been given to Antifa and Black Lives Matter terrorists.

One wonders if the best federal remedy for the entire situation is to pull out all federal aid and personnel and let Seattle, Portland, and any other city that voted in Antifa and Black Lives Matter-friendly elected officials fend for themselves. Democracy has consequences and these city voters have brought the mayhem on themselves by their political foolishness. Now, let them pay the piper. Perhaps next city election, they’ll reconsider their idiotic and now tragic views.
