Tucker Carlson has been hitting so many nails on the head with his reporting—on everything—over the past few weeks, he could have single-handedly built a 10,000-square-foot mansion.

Last Friday, on FOX News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight, Carlson asked where are the Republicans during this national disgrace we’re witnessing of an intolerant, violent radical left ascendancy? Initially, I reflexively bristled, tending toward voting Republican over Democrat—even though I am neither. Then I realized, he’s spot on. Where are the Republicans?

Since dealing with the violence, destruction, and looting are mostly under state and local jurisdictions, I’m more patient with President Trump. During his recent return to campaigning publicly, he mentioned the formerly beautiful now embarrassing city of Seattle. Specifically, the leftist insurrectionist’s homeland known as the Capitol Hill Occupation Protest (CHOP). I’ve also heard the “O” means “Organized,” but I’ve seen no evidence of any organization.

Mayor Jenny Durkan not only tolerates but openly encourages these leftist bullies. “Summer of love, my ass.” Just over the weekend (one day before summer), within the borders of The CHOP, a suspect shot two people, leaving one dead and one critical. The murder occurred within sight of the captured/surrendered Seattle Police Department (SPD) East Precinct.

Was that finally enough to allow the police in to secure the scene and investigate the incident? Nope. According to local reporting, a violent crowd prevented police from entering to investigate. The suspect is still in the wind. It’s Sunday afternoon, as I write this, and there has been no word from any city leader on the shooting, which occurred Saturday at about 2:30 a.m. I’m no math whiz, but that’s 36 hours of silence about a homicide, folks.

The Seattle Police Officers Guild President Mike Solan has spoken. He appeared on Fox & Friends, early Saturday morning with Pete Hegseth. Solan said, “Violence has now besieged the area known as CHOP, and it is no longer the summer of love; it’s the summer of chaos.

“Early this morning that violence was raw and real when one of our community members lost their life. And police are still not allowed into that area and were prevented to [sic] provide services to locate victims and/or render aid.”

The President said his advisors told him maybe he should let the people live with what the Democrat leadership is inflicting on them for a while. That’s some tough love, right there. But perhaps that’s exactly what places like Seattle need.

Just to show you how endemic this leftist sociopolitical sickness has become, consider The Seattle Times’ headline on the Sunday morning following the murder: “After early morning shooting in CHOP, occupied area returns to its new normal.”

New normal?” Are they f—ing kidding me? When was this takeover and occupation of a portion of a major American city ever any kind of normal? Only a moron would print that headline after a murder occurring in what is already an ongoing crime scene—nearly two weeks and counting.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

The Times continued downplaying a homicide in The CHOP reporting, “There is no public evidence to suggest the shooting was connected to the protest, but neither Seattle police detectives nor Seattle fire medics reached the scene after the shootings, according to city officials and videos of the aftermath.”

Not “connected?” The shooting happened in The CHOP. Are we to believe this murder, occurring in CHOP, was simply a coincidence? Another piece of evidence that the mainstream media believes Americans are stupid.

During this national cascade of violence, I’ve only heard from the same few Republican voices. Where’s the pushback against this existential threat (that’s not hyperbole; our republic, as founded, is on a precipice)? President Trump initially showed some intent to end the violence, but there has been little if any visible Republican action at any level.

I understand what his advisers must be telling President Trump. After all, there are political landmines all over this battlefield of crisscrossing, conflicting, and colliding issues. And no matter in which direction the mines explode, the dishonest national media full of Trump haters will make sure any shrapnel damages the President.

Still, the recent murder and attempted murder in Seattle’s CHOP insurrectionist camp must be the catalyst for reintroducing the rule of law—no matter the political consequences. I woke up the morning of the shooting, which was within sight of the precinct I served in for over two decades.

A torrent of news media reported an armed person entered Cal Anderson Park, which is a block to the northeast of the SPD East Precinct. An unknown suspect shot two people, killing one man and leaving the other man in critical condition.

When officers arrived, they were repulsed by the insurrectionists. Remember when Seattle’s mayor and police chief insisted there were no areas in the city where police can’t respond? Well, that’s not true, is it?

Reportedly, armed “security” goons from The CHOP transported the deceased and wounded person to Harborview Medical Center where The CHOP “cops” reportedly “took over the ER.” Because of this, neither at the crime scene nor at the hospital, there could be no police investigation of the crime scene, no homicide detectives interviewing witnesses, and no crime scene investigators collecting evidence.

The Choptopian’s ongoing criminal act has now added to it, abetting murder, destruction of evidence (evidence not collected as soon as possible becomes increasingly tainted as time passes), and obstructing a crime scene investigation.

I guess Mayor Jenny Durkan’s “summer of love” was over, as I mentioned above, one day before the summer solstice arrived—it’s like the gods are laughing at Heronner. You hear hyperbole about blood being on a politician’s hand because of terrible decision making. And cops still believe the primary blame for a crime belongs to the perpetrator. However, I’ve never seen a canvass that a city leader has more properly prepared for violence than what Seattle’s leaders have provided for the criminals occupying The CHOP, CHAZ, or better yet, Durkanistan.
