You can’t remove tactics from law enforcement, making them guinea pigs for physical attacks and not expect some backlash.

This week, French police officers threw their handcuffs on the ground after feeling “insulted” by claims that France tolerates racism and police brutality.

The officers protested across the country following a decision by Interior Minister Christophe Castaner to ban chokeholds in order to crackdown on purported police brutality.

Many Americans feel the police are heroes, doing something that 99% of all the “woke” people here would be too scared to do. Instead of eternal gratitude for all lives saved, cops are hounded because of a tiny percentage of officers who do something wrong. It’s the same as demanding hospitals to close because some patients die on an operating table or due to a doctor’s neglect: Small in reality yet hyperbolically blown way out of proportion

Do you agree that protesting is acceptable, but rioting is not?
