On the Fox Business show “Sunday Morning Futures” Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC, told host Maria Bartiromo that he does not believe that the corruption in the FBI during 2016 and 2017 was limited to agents and underlings, but went to the very top of the Bureau. He said that during his current Senate hearings on the matter he intended to call witnesses to explore the subject.

He told Bartiromo he plans on calling former FBI Director James Comey and former deputy director Andrew McCabe to testify before his Senate Judiciary Committee, because he thinks they knew the data, the infamous “Steele dossier,” compiled by ex-British spy Christopher Steele had been proven false before it was used to get a FISA warrant to monitor 2016 Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. He also believes they may have known the dossier was paid for by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton for President campaign. If they did know, it could be an indictable offense.

After former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, under oath before the committee, denied having knowledge of any alteration to the documents or that the Steele dossier had been thought false before it was used as evidence, McCabe responded by saying that Rosenstein’s statements that he was misled by him or anyone else at the FBI “are completely false.” Thus, the rats are falling out with each other and running to accuse one another of acts they probably all had a hand in. The challenge in front of Graham is to figure out which ones are lying to protect themselves and which ones are so nervous and scared they are doing something they rarely have done in their entire professional careers; they are telling the truth, if only to get the best deal first.

“Here’s what I would say to Mr. McCabe,” Graham said. “In the warrant application by the FBI and Department of Justice to the FISA court, you said that the Russian sub-source was truthful and cooperative. Inspector General Horowitz found a memo about the interview with the Russian sub-source saying the Russian sub-source disavowed all the information in the dossier, that it wasn’t reliable, that it was bar talk, it was hearsay, it shouldn’t be used to get a warrant…We’re not going to let the system blame some low-level intel analyst or case agent for defrauding the court. I believe it goes to the very top, and I’m going to get to the bottom of it and that means Sally Yates and Rosenstein, and McCabe and Comey are all going to come before the committee and they’re going to be asked, ‘What did you know and when did you know it?’”

If Graham can pull that off, in classic interrogation style, one of them is going to take the bait, knowing that the quicker they do the more likely it is that Graham seeks less of a penalty for them than for their fellow corrupt cohorts. This also comes at a good time for the Trump reelection campaign, as increasingly people are starting realize that FBI officials not only lied about any sense of Russian interference in the 2016 race, but may have even lied to protect who was the real beneficiary of any Russian influence in that election.
