Harry Potter author British writer J.K. Rowling is in trouble again with transgender lunatics and the hard left gender lobby, all for saying that “trans” men are still biological men and “trans” women are still biological women. This bit of common sense can’t be tolerated by certain people.

Rowling is an icon to other writers. Yes, for her success. But more so because just before her success, when her first Harry Potter book came out, she was couch surfing and hardly had a penny to her name. She is the inspirational figure that says stick to it, you will will only win with persistence. For some of us male writers, since we’re taking about gender, she is also quite aesthetically pleasing in the physical sense.

Now Rowling is no conservative, far from it. But on issues of gender identification she is spot on. As many sensible second wave feminists understand, how can you have any kind of feminism when the entire concept of gender is fluid? Or, in other words: guys who pretend to be girls, no matter how far they go, are still guys. Same holds true for women pretending to be guys. As the saying goes, if one lives in a stable one is not necessarily a horse.

Rowling said Saturday to her 14.5 million followers on Twitter, “If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.”

In another missive, Rowling hit the crazy as bat guano idea among the left that biological men/”trans” women can menstruate, “‘People who menstruate. I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?” she caustically asked. My heroine. “The idea that women like me, who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because they’re vulnerable in the same way as women – ie, to male violence – ‘hate’ trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences – is a nonsense,” she said.

In response the usual progressive suspects like the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) retweeted a statement from last December that said, “Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Non-binary people are non-binary. CC: JK Rowling.” Fellow traveler GLAAD accused Rowling of “align[ing] herself with an ideology which willfully distorts facts about gender identity and people who are trans.” Uh no, the poor devils suffering from gender dysphoria deserve better than GLAAD willfully distorting the facts to appease the gender loons.

And as per the general subject, Rowling nails it here again too. People, as wacky and deviant as they are, have the right to be so as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others. They also can’t, and be considered good members of a free society, demand others buy into their whatever ridiculous notions they have imbibed (like this one on gender) and demand society do the same.

This wasn’t the first time Rowling got into hot water with the left on gender. She previously spoke out in defense of Maya Forstater, a woman who was sacked from her think tank post after saying that she was astonished to see “smart people” she knew “tying themselves in knots to avoid saying the truth that men cannot change into women.” Well done Miss Forstater.

On that Rowling said, “Dress however you please. Call yourself whatever you like. Sleep with any consenting adult who’ll have you. Live your best life in peace and security. But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real?  #IStandWithMaya #ThisIsNotADrill.”

The sane medical community agrees, Dr. Paul McHugh has said, “Transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men. All (including Bruce Jenner) become feminized men or masculinized women, counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which they ‘identify.’ In that lies their problematic future.”

The American College of Pediatricians has also strongly condemned treatments like puberty blockers. Puberty blockers are drugs that child-abusing parents give to their kids to try and “change” their genders. That is the kind of sheer madness, the kind of rank Mengele-like insanity that J.K. Rowling as spoken out against. Well played her.
