Senator Tim Scott said that Democrat presumptive nominee Joe Biden’s statement regarding anyone who doesn’t vote for him isn’t black, were the “most arrogant, condescending” comments he’s heard.

In an interview with Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne Tha God, former Vice President Biden said that if black Americans can’t figure out whether to support him or President Trump in the 2020 election, then they “ain’t black.”

Biden was slammed online by people all across the political spectrum, including by the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr. “Retweet if you think this sounds racist AF,” Trump Jr tweeted. “Imagine if Donald Trump said this.”

In an interview with Fox News, Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina also heavily condemned Biden’s remarks. “That is the most arrogant, condescending comment I’ve heard in a long time, and that’s saying something,” Scott told Varney & Co. Senator Scott brought up that Biden’s comments were also massively hypocritical, as he is “the man who sponsored and led the charge on the 1990s crime bill that jailed more African-American males than any other legislation.”

On the other side of the equation, President Trump’s criminal justice reform “corrected the absolute mistakes made by Joe Biden,” Scott noted. “If you think about the numbers, 1.3 million African-Americans voted for Trump. He’s saying to 1.3 million African-Americans that you are not black? Who in the heck does he think he is? That is the most arrogant, outrageous comment that I’ve heard in a very long time and I take offense to that,” Scott concluded.

More Racism From the Democratic Party!

I would strongly agree with Senator Scott here. While some in the black community have been criticizing black conservatives as “Uncle Toms” and other similar racist phraseology for decades now, it seems even more insensitive for Biden, as a white man, to try and dictate the identity of black Americans. As a black conservative, Scott is really one of the best people to show Biden’s racism for what it is! Your heritage and background has nothing to do with what you can and cannot believe in—it would be insane of me to say that somebody stops being white just because they’re a communist or follow some other radical leftwing ideology!
