During live coverage of last night’s protests, Fox News reporter Leland Vittert was driven off air by protesters who swarmed him, chanting “F**k Fox News!” He was covering the protests in front of the White House in Washington, DC.

Anchor Shannon Bream was asking Vittert, as well as other reporters on the ground across the nation, about the unrest in the wake of the killing of George Floyd. A masked woman approached Vittert and started yelling in his face, “F**k Fox News, y’all!” Vittert said, “We have some media critics out here,” as protesters began to rush at him. At that point, Vittert dropped out of the frame and said, “Shannon, it sorta seems like we’re going to go back to you.”

Bream said, “There’s been a lot of that with Leland there tonight.” (Warning: the following brief video posted to Twitter depicts graphic behavior and vulgar language.)

Vittert later said it was “the scariest situation I’ve been in since I got chased out of Tahrir Square by a mob, and this was equally scary.”
