Former Fox News primetime anchor Megyn Kelly announced today that she interviewed Joe Biden accuser Tara Reade. Reade claims that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993, when she was a Senate staffer. Kelly, who is not currently with a large network, said the interview will offer “a ton of news.”

Kelly wrote on Twitter, “MK EXCLUSIVE: Former Biden staffer #TaraReade, who accuses FMR VP #JoeBiden of sexually assaulting her in 1993, sits down w/me in her first on-camera interview since Mr. Biden denied her accusations. Her story & some tough Q’s in a riveting exchange. A ton of news coming.”

In an interview with The Hill, Kelly said that Reade “gets very candid, very emotional, and handles many direct challenges to her account. She also has a message directly for the former vice president.”

The interview will be available to view on Kelly’s social media accounts, as well as YouTube. Clips will be offered to mainstream networks as well, according to The Hill.

Biden has only addressed the allegations on television once, during an interview on MSNBC‘s “Morning Joe.” The presidential candidate told Mike Brzezinski of the allegations: “No, it is not true. I’m saying unequivocally it never, never happened and it didn’t. It never happened.”

Reade claims that at the time of the alleged assault, she filed a complain with Human Resources in the Senate. She claims the documents are in Biden’s archives at the University of Delaware. The university, however, refuses to release the documents and Biden will not authorize media access to them.
