You’d think after calling President Donald Trump “xenophobic” because he stopped all travel from China in late January, only to have his own remark fly right back in his face, Joe Biden would take a break on the xenophobe gambit. You’d be mistaken.

In an editorial published by NBC News on Wednesday, Biden and Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) double down on the term because the president dared to use the term “Wuhan virus” and told reporters to “go ask China” when they asked about Chinese infection rates.

CNN, not to be outdone, ran a piece calling the “ask China” line a “microaggression.” There, of course, is no such thing. A microaggression is only the plaintive bleating of weak people who are exposed for the cowardice they display on a regular basis. The NBC News op-ed goes on to blame Trump for using the term “Chinese virus” and for “deflecting blame for his own failure to heed the warnings of experts to prepare for this crisis.” Experts? You mean the same public health experts who almost singlehandedly ruined the entire U.S. economy? If the president is at any fault, it is for listening to them to the exclusion of an argument promoting an economic counterbalance.

Given Joe Biden’s personal record, he seems to be stuck in an Archie Bunker time loop—he has little room to call anyone a bigot. Biden claimed during a campaign stop in 2019, for example, that “xenophobia” keeps Japanese women employed. His bordering on dementia brain rattled off this gem of clarity, “Japan is in a position where traditionally women are as well-educated as men, but the tradition was, once they had a child, they were to drop out of the job market. … There’s an entire move, because they’re xenophobic — because they don’t want to invite other people from outside their country to come in and make up the workforce — they have fewer workers than they have a need for workers. And so, what they’ve done is they’ve decided to encourage women to stay in the job market.”

From a misuse of the term “xenophobia,” to disparaging comments towards women and the Japanese, finishing off with a confused and inaccurate economic analysis, that quote highlights the fact that if Biden is elected he will likely be an empty mental vessel, ripe for the filling by his veep and hard prog aides. His first days in office will make Woodrow Wilson’s last two years in office look like an MIT symposium.

The Washington Post reported in 2014 that Biden crashed and burned by making Asian jokes during his meeting with former Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew. This was just hours after he apologized for employing the term “Shylocks” when speaking about Asians, following criticism from Jewish groups.

And in his worst and most repugnant verbal misstep to date —if you don’t count the recent “you ain’t black” moment— in 2011 The Washington Post noted that Biden praised China’s murderous one-child policy. That was a program which rested on coercion, including forced sterilization, and forced abortions. Said Biden, “Your policy has been one which I fully understand — I’m not second-guessing — of one child per family.”

Cozying up to murderers, insulting Asians and Jews, and rambling on about the good old days, man. Welcome to the private and disjointed mental world of the presumptive Democrat nominee for president.
