Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) showed the world just how hypocritical she really is on Thursday when she defended Joe Biden from Tara Reade’s sexual assault claim against him, claiming that Reade’s accusation is not “clear cut.”

During an interview with National Public Radio (NPR), Ocasio-Cortez cast aside the entire “believe women” movement by describing the Biden allegations as “messy.”

“It certainly seems as though something has happened. I’m not sure,” she said. “Frankly, this is a messy moment, and I think we need to acknowledge that — that it is not clear cut.”

Reade has claimed that Biden shoved her up against the wall and digitally penetrated her back in 1993, when she was a staffer in his Senate office.

“Biden flatly denies Reade’s account,” NPR made sure to report. Ocasio-Cortez, who was quick to politicize the sexual assault allegations against Republican now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, went on to argue against politicizing Reade’s accusations.

“Instead of focusing on her account, instead of focusing on her story as a survivor, people are fast forwarding to the political implications,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “‘Do you want Trump to win? Will you be voting for Joe Biden?’ And that denies justice in this situation.”

She added that she will vote for Biden but not endorse him because an endorsement “has to do with an understanding of what we are fighting for together.”

“I think an endorsement means we have come to a place where we have developed a vision together not just for winning [in November] but for getting our country to a better place,” Ocasio-Cortez said. This is a prime example of the hypocrisy that is rampant in the Democratic Party. The Left never really cared about the women who have been victimized in the #MeToo movement. Instead, they only cared about seizing power for themselves. Democrats are willing to “believe all women” when they accuse Republicans, but when someone on the Left is accused, all bets are off.
