Fox News is reporting that the much-anticipated Durham probe is in the final stages and could wrap up by the end of summer. “The wheels of justice turn slowly,” as the saying goes, “but grind exceedingly fine.” The late summer finish date would be just in time for the consequences to hit and explode Democrat chances in the fall election. So yes, finally, maybe, possibly, The Durham Heavy Cavalry is on the way.

One of the reasons there has been a delay is that the evidence has been so overwhelming that both U.S. Attorney Jeff Jensen, fresh from his successful suggestion to drop charges against General Flynn, and Timothy Shea, the DC U.S. Attorney, have been called into the case.

Fox: “They farmed the investigation out because it is too much for Durham and he didn’t want to be distracted. He’s (Durham) going full throttle, and they’re looking at everything.”

The Democrats are trying to use Jensen’s recommendation to go after Barr and thus Durham. It’s probably much too late for that dog to hunt,  “The evidence against General Flynn is overwhelming,” said Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y. Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee on Friday asked that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz launch an investigation into Barr’s “pattern of conduct that includes improper political interference.” That will be met with the legal equivalent of mumbled procrastination from Horowitz.

“I think, you know, that’s a question that really has to wait [for] an analysis of all the different episodes that occurred through the summer of 2016 and the first several months of President Trump’s administration,” Barr told CBS News over the weekend. He adding that Durham is “still looking at all of this,” in a reference to the Flynn case and possible corruption charges for many who served in the Obama regime.

“This is one particular episode, but we view it as part of a number of related acts … and we’re looking at the whole pattern of conduct,” Barr said, noting that they were investigating before “and after … the election.” Well now, that’s enough to give Joe Biden shivers.

Fox: “Meanwhile, a source said that the ‘pattern of conduct’ Durham is investigating includes misrepresentations made to the FISA court to obtain warrants to surveil Trump campaign associate Carter Page. Barr ‘talks to Durham every day. The president has been briefed that the case is being pursued, and it’s serious.’ ”

“It was a very dangerous situation what they did,” Trump said during an interview during Fox & Friends on Friday. “These are dirty politicians and dirty cops and some horrible people and hopefully they’re going to pay a big price in the not too distant future.” Fox concluded: “As for Durham’s probe, multiple sources familiar told Fox News that he is expected to wrap up his investigation by the end of the summer.”

Between now and the end of summer Democrats will do all they can to besmirch the personal and professional reputations of Bill Barr and John Durham. It is already happening because the Democrats know what they did in 2016 and 2017 and also know that Durham is hot on their trail. When he catches up with them, woe be to Joe Biden and a host of others associated with the regime of the disgraced 44th president.
