It was inevitable. Embattled World Heath Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus did the first thing any leftist does when called to task for their reprehensible actions: He screamed “racism.”
Tedros is from Ethiopia. He thus thinks that gives him carte blanche to play the race card.
However, he needs to take some effective targeting practice from the American Left. They know that when you make that play it is usually better to pick The Man (most any white guy will do) than to choose an island chocked to the gills with an aggrieved people whom your organization has disdained for decades.
But Tedros seems a rookie at this, so he picked the Taiwanese. Here is his odd plea of victimhood: “This attack came from Taiwan. They even started criticizing me in the middle of all those insults and slurs. I say it today because it’s enough.”
That is rather strange, as no news outlet can find any insult or racial remark whatsoever aimed at Tedros at any time from Taiwan. Looks like the poor sop was just fishing for a fall guy and his Red Chinese paymasters provided him with their Free Chinese rival. Tedros, not apparently the sharpest crayon in the race-baiter crayon box, fell for it.
Fox News reported, “It was unclear what ‘attacks’ Tedros was alluding to, but Tedros has repeatedly been taken to task for favoring China, overlooking Beijing’s shifting timelines and questionable data related to the coronavirus outbreak.”
The Chicoms were quick to support their puppet from the charge against Taiwan he made up out of sheer fantasy. “China strongly condemns personal attacks and racist words and deeds against WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus,” said a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry. The official later “strongly condemned” the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy in a terse diplomatic communique to the Bahamas.
The Taiwanese, much like the Albanians in “Wag the Dog,” are confused and ticked off. Their Foreign Ministry said Tedros launched “unprovoked and untrue accusations [that] not only differ from reality, they have also seriously harmed our government and our people. This kind of slander is extremely irresponsible.”
Dear Gawd Dr. Tedros, could you please call AOC, Liz Warren, Cory Booker, or any Democrat just lying around and get a remedial class in race hustling? I mean, this is just embarrassing.
