One might consider Ricky Gervais as the anti-celebrity celebrity.

He’s the “everyman” celebrity, and he gets it. He doesn’t showboat or lecture people on politics or social issues.

Gervais understands his spot in this world—he’s an entertainer, not a finger-wagging know-it-all like most of these insufferable elitist celebs.

And the best part is that Ricky has taken it upon himself to constantly roast these egomaniacal, smug, privileged celebrities. In his latest interview, Gervais says that “millionaires in mansions shouldn’t lecture normal people.” He’s right! You can watch the video below:

Gervais is actually doing celebs a favor by trying to keep them in line. I don’t think there’s been a point in time when celebs are more opposed and mocked.

They’d be much better suited taking his advice and listening instead of talking. These people are really full of themselves.
