While reporting on the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak from a Brooklyn, NY intensive care unit, CBS reporter David Begnaud discovered the nurse who had engaged him on the atmospherics in the hospital was wearing a garbage bag as protective gear, as were her colleagues.

Likewise, the nurse was quick to notice Begnaud’s far superior personal protective equipment that he donned from head to toe.

During the conversation she pleaded for his mask and gown to be better protected while serving on the frontlines.  In a superior act of kindness, Begnaud gave his PPE to her after it was properly sanitized.
