‘Seinfeld’ star Jason Alexander unravels over Trump: ‘We must remove this horror’

Unfortunately for Alexander, his attempt to take down Trump backfired when social media users let him know just how irrelevant his opinion really is.

Jason Alexander of “Seinfeld” fame just alienated half of his fan-base when he launched an unhinged attack on Donald Trump, calling him the “most despicable president in history” and demanding that he be removed from office.

Alexander made these comments in response to remarks made by President Trump, who said that hospitals should have had extra supplies in anticipation of a crisis like the coronavirus pandemic.

“Massive amounts of medical supplies, even hospitals and medical centers, are being delivered directly to states and hospitals by the Federal Government,” Trump wrote in a series of tweets. “Some have insatiable appetites & are never satisfied (politics?). Remember, we are a backup for them. The complainers should have been stocked up and ready long before this crisis hit. Other states are thrilled with the job we have done. Sending many Ventilators today, with thousands being built. 51 large cargo planes coming in with medical supplies. Prefer sending directly to hospitals.”

This was enough to “trigger” Alexander, who blamed the shortages solely on Trump. “This is the most despicable man to ever inhabit the Oval Office,” he wrote. “Thousands will die needlessly for his arrogance and incompetence. And if this doesn’t prove it to you, nothing will. We must remove this horror from power asap.”

Unfortunately for Alexander, his attempt to take down Trump backfired when social media users let him know just how irrelevant his opinion really is. “Thanks, Hollywood. Where would we all be without the wisdom of people, like you, who become rich pretending to be something they’re not while uttering words written for them by someone else. You enrich [us],” one social media user commented, with another adding, “People who play make believe for a living think this makes them an authority on issues.”

It’s disappointing that someone like Alexander, who was beloved by fans on all sides of the political spectrum, has just shown that he is just another left-wing Hollywood sheep. If only he’d kept his mouth shut about politics, and not shown all of us how ignorant he really is!
