The pop singer Rihanna just launched a truly vile attack on President Donald Trump for, as she claims, not saving American lives when it comes to the coronavirus.

Rihanna came unglued when a perhaps understandably impatient fan asked her when her next album would be out, as it has been four years since she has released any new music. This clearly hit a nerve with Rihanna, who nonsensically made her response about Trump. “If one of y’all motherf***ers ask me about the album one more time when I’m trying to save the world, unlike y’all president, [we will fight] on sight,” she said, according to E! News.

Unsurprisingly, Rihanna offered no evidence of what exactly she is doing to save the world. Meanwhile, President Trump is continuing to go above and beyond to save lives from the coronavirus pandemic as it continues to ravage our nation.

“We’re winning the battle, we’re winning the war,” Trump told Americans in an Easter message on Sunday, according to Daily Wire. “We’ll be back together in churches right next to each other. Celebrate. Bring the family together like no other. We have a lot to be thankful for.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci had said the day before that the U.S. had been fed “misinformation” about the transmission of COVID-19 “right from the beginning,” making it virtually impossible for Trump to have adequately stopped it earlier.

“Early on we did not get correct information, and the incorrect information was propagated right from the beginning,” said Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

It’s ridiculous that Rihanna would even compare her situation to that of President Trump. She’s just an entertainer who doesn’t know the first thing about politics, much less about how to deal with a pandemic the likes of which was completely unprecedented. Trump is being challenged like no other president has been in modern history, and Rihanna’s beloved Barack Obama would never have been able to handle this situation as well as our current leader has.

Rihanna should focus a little less on bashing Trump and a little more on making music, something she seems to not even be able to do right now.
