Obama aide and Biden Advisor Zeke Emanuel (brother of former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel) is part of an effort to scare the country into voting for Joe Biden and the Democrats. Emanuel was also an architect of Obamacare.

Emanuel told MSNBC‘s “Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” on Monday,”Realistically, COVID-19 will be here for the next 18 months or more. We will not be able to return to normalcy until we find a vaccine or effective medications.” Emanuel is lying and he knows it.

“I know that’s dreadful news to hear. How are people supposed to find work if this goes on in some form for a year and a half? Is all that economic pain worth trying to stop COVID-19? The truth is we have no choice. We cannot return to normal until there’s a vaccine. Conferences, concerts, sporting events, religious services, dinner in a restaurant, none of that will resume until we find a vaccine, a treatment, or a cure.”

Notice the crocodile tears, the reference to not finding work, the Is it worth it? hit on President Trump, and the raising of the bar to a vaccine or cure. Emanuel also ignores the effective treatment we’ve already seen with an anti-malarial drug. And isn’t an effective treatment that saves lives a cure?

Dr. Anthony Fauci disagrees with the Obama flunkie: “I fully expect —though, I’m humble enough to know that I can’t accurately predict— that by the time we get to the fall that we will have this under control, enough that it certainly will not be the way it is now where people are shutting schools.” Dr. Fauci is honest enough to hedge his bets, unlike Emanuel.

We will see more and more of this kind of thing from Emanuel and the Democrats in the near future. They will paint a doom and gloom picture and hope the voters hold Trump responsible. They are trying to use a national tragedy and thousands of dead Americans for naked political gain. Those politicians who engage in this type of tactic are repulsive to any thinking person and surely not fit to hold office.
