Larry David, the co-creator of “Seinfeld” and star of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” just spoke out to slam President Donald Trump for the way he has responded to coronavirus and to demand that Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) drop out of the race so that “everybody” can support former Vice President Joe Biden.

During a new interview with The New York Times, David got political when he blasted President Trump for his daily press briefings on the coronavirus pandemic. “That’s the hardest thing about the day, watching what comes out of this guy’s mouth,” the 72-year-old comedian said. “It turns you into a maniac because you’re yelling at the television. All of a sudden, you find yourself screaming, like I used to do on the streets of New York, pre-‘Seinfeld,’ when I saw happy couples on the street.”

David went on to describe Trump as “a bad Catskills comic.”

“You know, it’s an amazing thing,” he said. “The man has not one redeeming quality. You could take some of the worst dictators in history and I’m sure that all of them, you could find one decent quality. Stalin could have had one decent quality, we don’t know!”

David then shifted to discussing Sanders, who he has been impersonating on “Saturday Night Live.” Despite the fact that he is friends with the senator, David believes he should drop out for the good of the Democratic Party. “I feel he should drop out,” David said. “Because he’s too far behind. He can’t get the nomination. And I think, you know, it’s no time to fool around here. Everybody’s got to support Biden.”

This comes after actress Alyssa Milano of “Charmed” fame demanded that Sanders drop out immediately, going so far as to call him “intellectually bankrupt.”

“It is intellectually bankrupt for Bernie to pretend that not unifying the party today is advantageous to a democratic victory in November,” Milano tweeted. “He is still taking donations from people during crisis on a campaign that has no path forward! It’s intellectually and morally bankrupt.”

With Trump’s approval ratings soaring amidst the coronavirus pandemic, Democrats are going into full panic mode, as they are finally realizing that they might not be able to beat him in November after all. David may not like the way the president has handled the COVID-19 outbreak, but the majority of Americans don’t feel the same way, so he might want to start preparing himself now for four more years of living in Trump’s America.
