Democrat Senator Kamala Harris of California, who raked Judge Brett Kavanaugh over the coals during his Senate confirmation hearings, has a selective sympathy for women who accuse men of sexual assault. Because he was conservative, Harris found Kavanaugh a ripe target. But a woman who has accused Joe Biden of sexual assault has been ignored by the California Democrat.

Tara Reade alleges Biden, “greeted me, he remembered my name, and then we were alone. It was the strangest thing. There was no like, exchange really. He just had me up against the wall.”

Fox News reports, “…she alleges the assault took place in the basement of a Capitol Hill office building in the spring of 1993. She said in a statement to Fox News: ‘Despite the fact I come from a family of Democrats. I worked for Leon Panetta, [California] State Sen. Jack O’Connell and Joe Biden. I worked hard for the Democratic Party as a young woman. It is obvious by the tremendous smears about me leveled by [the] Biden campaign and supporters after I came forward about Biden and the complete lack of support from any Democrat that they care more about protecting Joe Biden than addressing the serious allegations by me and the other seven women who complained about his misconduct.”

So Democrats and the Biden campaign attack a woman who claims sexual assault. Aren’t all women supposed to be believed? Wasn’t that what was said by Harris, Biden, and other Democrats during the Kavanaugh hearings? And eight of them? You’d think…

Reade spoke specifically about Senator Harris: “Kamala Harris is my representative and I reached out to her for help. No response. Joe Biden sexually assaulted and harassed me. All the rest of political discussion is noise and an effort to distract from the serious lack of justice I experienced at his hands…”

Apparently sexual assault is not a big deal to Democrats if it is committed by Democrats. But the GOP may have a different take on that subject come fall.
