Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence of “Hunger Games” fame is shamelessly trying to use the coronavirus pandemic as a political weapon for the Left by calling on her fans to demand to vote from home.

In a new video for the RepresentUs campaign, on which Lawrence sits on the board, the 29-year-old actress called on her fans to demand to be able to vote “from the safety of your own home” as everyone stays home to try and stop the spread of COVID-19. She began her minute-long PSA by thanking the first responders and healthcare workers who are battling coronavirus on the front-lines.

“First and foremost, I want to give my heartfelt sympathies to everyone who’s been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and my deepest gratitude to the emergency responders and healthcare workers who are risking their health every day,” she said. “The best thing that we can do to slow the spread of this virus is to stay at home.”

That’s when Lawrence shifted to her political stance, telling everyone who is social distancing that now is the time to think about how the next election will happen under these conditions. “But there’s still an election coming up with millions of Americans who have yet to cast their ballot in the 2020 primaries, which is why you should go to represent.us/voteathome so that you can cast your ballot from the safety of your own home,” she said. “Some states won’t allow you to turn in an absentee ballot without an excuse, but a bill in congress and your secretary of state can fix this right now.”

“This is extremely important,” Lawrence concluded. “It’s our elections we’re talking about, so please help spread the word by posting on your social media with the hashtag #VoteAtHome. Stay safe and healthy everybody.”

This comes as Democrats are shamelessly trying to use this pandemic to enact the election reforms that they have wanted put in place for years. Joe Biden, the current Democratic presidential front-runner, told MSNBC earlier this week that he wants states to start looking into voting alternatives that do not involve physically going to the polls. The former vice president said that “this is about making sure that we’re able to conduct our democracy while we’re dealing with a pandemic. We can do both.”

“It may mean a difference in the way we do it. It may mean that social distancing doesn’t get it done,” he added. “It may mean that you have a circumstance where you have drive-in voting literally, you pull up and you vote. There’s a lot of ways to do it, but we should be talking about it now.”

Only three states (Colorado, Oregon, and Washington) currently vote only by mail, while over a dozen other states have it as a voting option, according to Fox News.

Coronavirus has killed thousands of Americans, so it’s sad that the only thing Democrats seem to be concerned about is how they can use this pandemic to fuel their own radical agenda. Lawrence should be opening her pocketbook to help out the emergency workers she mentioned at the start of the video, not using them as political tools for the Left.
